Didn’t realize the $25 visa gift card on Swagbucks is online only. Anything I can possibly use it on if I very rarely buy things online?

I haven’t purchased it yet but I’m aware this is the best value redemption for Swagbucks. I guess I assumed they just send you a plastic card via snail mail. Is it considered a debit account, i.e. would I be able to apply it to my normal credit card statement? Has anyone had success applying a visa GC to part of a utility bill or gym membership or something? Seems like sort of a hassle.

  1. And with the 13% discount for first month, you actually get more $/SB doing it this way, than redeeming for paypal.

  2. Create a Square account with your bank info. Then send money to yourself using the visa digital card, it takes off a 3.5% fee.

Also if you have a Quicktrip nearby you can get a gift card (no fee!) and use it to get get gas. I get about $50 worth of gas free every month

Also Kroger sells gift cards to any of the Kroger and affiliates. It’s 50¢ for shipping though.

You can buy target gift cards as well on their website

      1. You buy from quicktrip.cashstar.com. If you buy a digital gift card you have to go inside and ask $x on pump x. Then you either present it on your phone or print it out. They scan it and you’re bueno.

If you buy a physical card you can pay at the pump I believe.

You can also buy stuff inside, but I hardly ever do

      1. Just open an account then, everyday items like groceries stuff is available on Amazon; basically the $25 is like cash to buy daily items.

    1. i hadn’t seen this part of the FAQ, my bad. i’m kind of interested in the idea of spending the card on swagbucks to buy things to make even more swagbucks… reinvesting the money. have you ever done this?

      1. No, I usually go with the bluebird or bill paying route and use my credit cards with cash back bonuses on the offers.

  3. I buy stuff on Ebay, amazon and target.. but mostly I buy giftcards at a discount then I put the rest on my amazon account. you can move anything over 50 cents to a amazon giftcard

I also recycle the giftcard by using them on offers to make more money I took the 25 giftcard and bought trials to ESPN, Starz, and gifted 15 to hrc now I have over 100 coming back

  4. Aren’t the VISA gift cards handled by prepaiddigitalsolutions.com redeemable for plastic cards? They do charge a fee, 3% iirc.
