PSA – If you get suddenly get banned on QuickThoughts “indefinitely” then file a BBB complaint to get unbanned.

I was hit with the ban hammer by QuickThoughts two weeks ago only after trying to cash out on the the $90 I acquired. After multiple emails of trying to get unbanned with no avail, I did what I saw another user comment on here to get unbanned and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. QuickThoughts responded in a couple of days and this time it wasn’t a generic message that they send to everyone, it was a personally written message that said they would look into my account again for the fifth time and after two days voila! I got unbanned and now I can get back to surveying but this time I’m definitely gonna make sure to redeem every $10 I earn.

      1. They run a pretty crappy site, surveys shown to you are full but let you start them and then when you’re done tell you they’re full and don’t need you as well as disq at the end with cs not caring. I cashed out 2-3 times and they started ‘warning’ me they think I might be ‘rushing’ through their surveys.

  1. Why did you have $90 in your account? You’re just playing with fire carrying a balance that’s anything more than $10.

    1. Most big companies don’t give a shit about the BBB. They can bribe them to remove bad ratings anyway. OP got lucky.

      1. I personally couldn’t speak to if they care, however, the ones I’ve reported seem to respond pretty fucking quickly. Once they realize you 1. Know who to go to and 2. Have the balls to stand up for yourself, they take note.

      2. Normally I agree. I certainly don’t hold the BBB in very high esteem, but in this case it does seem to be an effective technique.

  2. I did this with e-miles when it was still a thing. Since the parent company owns other things, they like to be “good.” YMMV!!

  3. Thanks for the heads up, I’ll make sure to redeem often. I’ve been using QuickThoughts for two days and no complaints so far. I spend an hour each day doing the surveys and make about $6 a day doing so. Can I expect to keep making $6/day or are they being nice to me because I’m new?

  4. Email didn’t work for me with them at all either. What did work was sending them a message on their Facebook page. Got mine unbanned in a few days after they replied. Companies take their social media presence more seriously than email these days.
