Quitting current job for a new dream job that pays less… need to supplement income that I can start ASAP ($200-$300 target monthly)

Hey all,

So I’ll try to make a long story short:

Been in my current job for about 5 months and I’ve ended up becoming miserable. I have some debt and bills are tight, but I was given an opportunity to get in early with a local business I love and I can’t give up the chance, although it will be a lower paying job (to start).

I’m currently working Amazon mturk but I need about 200-300 extra a month now to stay afloat.

Looking to do a few hours late night and/or early morning.

What’s something that I can start faster than Appen/Lionsbridge where I can work odd hours?

  1. mturk is the best earner so if you have that you should do more of it. although the best hits may not be available at odd hours

    1. How many hours each day? I drive for uber & I can do like 250 on those two days but I only woke like 4 hrs a day. You think uber eats is more money?

      1. You make more driving for Uber than Uber Eats. Saturday and Sunday during promotion times I usually drive from 5pm to 11pm or 12pm.

Saturdays I typically make about $11-16 hr
Sundays I make anywhere from $18-22 hr

Exclusively during promotion times though.. ×1.4 to ×1.9

  2. I’m aiming for a similar amount of money per month, so I’ve started a [reference table](https://www.reddit.com/r/Assistance/comments/b0f2u3/quick_reference_for_online_worksurveysetc/) of the main sites I hit (I’m going to keep it updated/etc as I add new ones).

According to my spreadsheet, I’ve been averaging about $12/13 day so far, and I’m just about to hit my first month of online work, so I still feel like I’m in the learning phase. 🙂
