Unique Rewards’ PayPal excuse

Finally reached the $20 threshold at Unique Rewards. When you go to the cash out page, paypal is deactivated, and they have changed minimum payment to $50….and by check.

Apparently this has been going on for a bit, and others have reported getting BOUNCED checks (SurveyPolice / BBB.org).

Their Better Business Bureau complaints:

Wanted to provide this as a heads up to those who were close to earning $20, and to ask for advice from anyone who dealt with them fairly recently.</p>

Update: Since posted, their Support team responded with the following:

<< Unfortunately, PayPal method is not available due to technical issue. Now you can cash out in Bitcoins with $20.00 minimal payment amount and by check with $50.00 minimal payment amount.>>

NOPE.

  1. Just something to make note of: Their BBB score is based on only 3 reviews, and only one person there mentioned a bounced check.

The PayPal issue seems to have been going on for over a year now, which is completely unacceptable that they’re showing it if they’re *still* having issues. They do have a number of bad reviews across various sites though. It seems they used to be legit, but they’ve gone downhill in the last year. It’s always a good idea to check reviews before earning on a site.

    1. Thanks for your input. I should have also mentioned I had read more on the bounced checks via the SurveyPolice site. Unfortunately, I had signed up much prior to their issues but agree it is better to know ahead whenever possible.
