UserTesting qualifications— done about 20 screeners, haven’t qualified?

I have taken over 20 screeners, and it always says I don’t qualify, am I doing something wrong?

  1. You may have dry spells. Keep taking the tests, you will eventually get some. As your rating increases, you’ll get more and more. Heck, some don’t even have screeners. Usertesting is by far the best source of side income I’ve found that doesn’t involve much work; I probably only qualify for 1/20, maybe 25, but in the last year I made $2.6K from the site.

      1. I’m on pace for the same this year. It helps when you’re home all day anyways. keeping the tab open from 7am pacific to past midnight allows me to get a few a day

      1. You’ve got to do it yourself. I have a dedicated savings account with Ally that I throw the correct amount into each time I get paid out, and at tax time I just write a check from it. At least that way I’m earning interest and it’s no big shock at the end of the year.

    1. We’re you on the site 24/7 or fairly casually? I got hits but I’d have some huge dry spells too.. I stuck with it for about a month and earned about $60. An extra $200/mo is nice..

      1. I just leave it in a pinned tab in my browser whenever I’m near my PC, and leave the speakers on a bit louder.

      1. It’s like they say, think out loud. Do the questions, read them as you do them, narrate what you’re doing, narrate what you like, what you don’t like, what you think would be better than what’s there, that sort of thing.

  2. That was my experience for the couple weeks I wasted time trying to ever make any money from UserTesting. I haven’t even bothered to look at the site in months.
